About Us

 Leduc, AB may not be where you’d expect to find a designer studio. Nestled in a small town where people know their neighbours and where kindness is shown daily and expected in return. This raises the bar, but this is exactly the reason we decided to set up shop in Leduc. We wanted an atmosphere that was laid back, more like family, and not too city. We wanted our store to be cozy, welcoming and less intimidating. Somewhere you could visit for a daily dose of self-love.

 

Founded in 2018 by Roberta Price and Gayle Anderson.

Exotic Peach was built with a passion to fulfill a lifelong dream; To create a unique Brand that would set us apart from any other. Our garments would have to be sexy, comfortable and size inclusive. We would ensure a perfect fit, or we would make it so. It’s important that our clients are also treated to a bespoke shopping experience.

Our Exotic Peach products are all designed and handcrafted right here, in-house – and it’s those same designers and makers who will help you find exactly what you need amongst our ever-growing collection. After all, who better to help you find your best fit and style than with the very people who stitched it all together!

It feels like saying “yes” to the dress – coming into Exotic Peach is like having your own personal stylist at your beck and call.

 A Little Naughty

Exotic Peach is gaining quite a reputation for the place to go for great custom fitted clothing, but we couldn’t stop there. We feel our name defines us; Sexy, Sensual, Sweet and a little Naughty. We are excited to offer a great selection of quality brand name Adult Toys and Accessories. We have created a tasteful, discrete little store (within our store) that we have lovingly named the Exotic Closet. Here customers can shop comfortably without feeling intimidated or awkward.  If you are wanting to shop for Intimate apparel, Swimwear, Boudoir or Yoga great! you can do so without ever entering the Closet. We have received a lot of positive feedback and appreciation of our little addition that we like to call our Couple’s Therapy, or Self Love room. We also wanted to make it easy to browse, so we have included all our products in our online store so you can shop at your leisure and have it shipped or held for pickup at the store.

 

 

Our partnership began at the Business Services wicket of a bank of all places, a fast friendship blossomed between Gayle and Roberta.  

During a working holiday to Lake Havasu, Arizona where we attended a Pop-up Tent spring event to sell Roberta’s sexy designer swimwear. We quickly learned we were a dream team and that Roberta’s talents should be offered here in Canada. It was decided on the bus ride back to Las Vegas that we would go ahead and form our company and that our name would reflect our vision.

 

Both originating from humble beginnings, Roberta’s mother (born to the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation in Manitoba) raised Roberta in White Rock, BC.  Roberta’s mother was a career seamstress, and so Roberta grew up surrounded by fabric, and sewing machines. It was only natural that Roberta became infatuated with design and fashion. It was during these impressionable years that Roberta would begin creating unique clothing. To Roberta, Exotic Peach was only a dream – but in hindsight, it feels more like it was destiny and it shows in her many beautiful creations. Roberta has a knack for calculating a person’s proportions as soon as they walk through the door to know just what size and style would look best on them.

Gayle leans on her many years of experience in both retail and business banking and brings a practical side to the company. Prior to moving to Alberta 13+ years ago, Gayle was a florist and owned a successful flower and gift shop in the small community of Hay River in the Northwest Territories. Being raised with 4 brothers, made her tough skinned and extremely competitive. Gayle’s life in the north is steeped in stories from her youth. Adventures in the wilderness, living in small aboriginal towns & villages, and learning the culture taught to them by the Elders of the community. Life skills are essential to building character. Gayle has always acclaimed that “although we were poor, we had the richest childhood”.

 

 

Together, they know what it takes to make their business successful. It takes hard work, dedication and skill but more importantly it takes vision, to which we have never lost sight of.

 Our goal is to help each, and every customer find something that is perfect for them. We know that every single body is unique in shape, size, and build, and it is with this in mind, that we design and recommend lingerie and swimwear to fit each shape.

 A client once asked Roberta to build a bra especially for her as she could never find bras to fit.  Roberta quickly knew exactly what she needed and told her she would have it done in a week.  As they were leaving the store, the client asked Gayle, “shouldn’t she have measured me or something?” Gayle laughed and said, “she didn’t need to, she just knows.”

 We love to see the reactions of our customers when they find that perfect outfit. There is a great amount of pride involved in owning the company, and it’s amplified when we see beautiful Exotic Peach creations become lifelong treasures for so many through the fine art of Boudoir Photography. We are thrilled that Exotic Peach can be a part of that.
